About Me

I have been sewing for most of my life and I was in the process of designing, drafting, and sewing children’s competitive dance costumes when Covid19 caused me to detour.  I didn’t want to promote children’s competitive dance during a pandemic.  I switched to fleece since it was more personal or family oriented for use at home.   I make all items from my home, pin free and smoke free, studio in Kansas. 

All About That Fleece

All my items for sale are personally handmade.  I sell in-stock items for immediate shipping, but also welcome your custom orders that I sew for you.  Fleece is fun for young and old from age 1 - 100!  Snuggle up under cozy fleece with popcorn and Netflix.  Fleece is the Spice of Life with so many varieties of patterns/designs, from geometric, ballet, sports, hobbies, to licensed fabrics of NBA, NFL, NCAA, MLB, NHL, NASCAR, Disney or Universal. By the Piece, Buy the Fleece.  All fleece items are made with two layers of fleece, with a few exceptions, when two layers would be impractical.  Throws include Bed Topper, Road Trip, Study Buddy, and Wheelchair made of two layers of fleece bound like a handmade quilt with rounded corners and are reversible.  There is no front or back side, you decide which side to display today.

Blizzard and Anti-Pill Fleece 

I use both Blizzard and Anti-Pill Fleece in my products.  I find both to be cuddly and have basically the same functionality.  Not all patterns/designs, and colors are available in one type or the other.  Therefore, I use both types, so I don’t limit the creativity, and have the best of both fabrics.

Pricing

Is based on my cost of fabric and the quantity used.  Typically, the Blizzard fleece is the least costly, the Anti-Pill fleece is priced higher, and the Brand Loyalty and the Licensed fleece are the costliest.  Therefore, you will see pricing incremented based on the following fabric combinations from lowest to highest cost:

Patterns/Design on Fleece

Please use the objects in the pictures to judge the size of the pattern/design.  Example:  A fabric may have 2-inch cats while another may have 8-inch cats.  If the size of the images is important to you and you are unable to determine the size of the image in the pictures; please contact me at Donna@fleececentric.com.  Throws/Blankets/Bed Toppers can support larger images, but to avoid surprises in image size, please verify the size of the image, so you do not receive 8-inch cats when you were expecting 2-inch cats.

Measurements

Manufacturers usually describe fleece fabric as 59-60 inches wide.  This varies since the amount of selvage (waste on the edge created in manufacturing) is not consistent.  This inconsistency forces the width dimension to vary slightly in size.  For this reason, all, measurements provided are approximate, but as close as fabric limitations allow.

See a fabric on my website or want a specific licensed fabric, I will attempt to locate the fabric for your custom order.  Fabric patterns/colors are at the discretion of the fabric manufacturers and may not always be available.  Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Fleece; do not miss an opportunity for your favorite fleece.

Returns/Exchanges/Refunds/Cancellations

Fleece, Love, and Understanding, I want you to be delighted with your purchase.  If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please notify me at donna@fleececentric.com. I will work toward a resolution.

Returns
To be eligible for a return, you must contact me within 48 hours of receipt, based on the tracking information.  The item/s must be unused and in new condition.  All returns must be returned in the same manner as originally shipped, poly bag if poly bagged or box if boxed and returned within 7 days.  I do not provide return shipping labels.  The return postage cost is your responsibility, and any postal insurance is also your responsibility.  I cannot credit for returns I do not receive.  

 

Exchanges

If you have purchased a product in the wrong size, color, or are not satisfied with your choice, please notify me so we can find the correct product. 

Refunds
Once I receive your item, I will inspect for condition.  Upon approval, I will initiate a refund to your original payment method and will notify you that I have processed your refund.

 

Cancellations

Ready-made items ship immediately.  I can cancel your order before shipping, but if your order has been shipped it is too late.

 

Custom orders may be cancelled prior to cutting the fabric.

It’s Easy Fleecy to keep your fleece items looking great for years to come.  Wash fleece alone in cool/warm, not hot water.  Fleece should not be combined with other fabrics, as additional fabrics may cause abrasive wear to the fleece.  Do not use bleach or detergents containing bleach.  If stained; distribute a small amount of detergent over the stain, do not rub, and wash as recommended above.  The use of fabric softener is not needed and is not recommended.  Do not iron or dry clean fleece.

Dry fleece on the lowest dryer setting, do not use dryer sheets and remove promptly when dry.  Fleece dries fast! 

Mesh bags or a cotton pillowcase closed with a hair tie or rubber band are useful for washing/drying small item/s.

YES – Cool/warm water, wash separately, detergent only, lowest dryer setting, remove promptly.

NO – Heat, bleach, fabric softener or dryer sheets, rubbing, dry cleaning or ironing!        

 Special Instructions for Washing Crop Circles

Find the tab of the invisible zipper on the “scrunchie” part of the Crop Circle (a little hidden and hard to find sometimes).    Open the zipper and pull on the “snake”. The two ends of the “snake” should be available from the zippered opening. The two ends are snapped together. Unsnap the ends and pull the snake from the fleece of the Crop Circle. Wash and dry the fleece as directed above. If the “snake” is not soiled, no need to wash. If you do find it necessary to also wash the “snake”, due to an accident – urine, stool, vomit, place the “snake” in a cotton pillowcase and secure with a hair tie or rubber band and wash as above. To dry the “snake” hang it stretched through four (4) hangers and allow it to air dry for a day. Then dry in the dryer on lowest heat setting. Then hang on hangers again to allow it to finish drying. Note: it can    seem dry when it is not completely dry. You can also manipulate the foam within the “snake” by grasping in the center along the length or the “snake” and pulling gently from both sides. After the “snake” is dry insert it into the scrunchie portion of the Crop Circle and feed it around to the opening. Snap the ends together and zip the opening closed.

Shipping Address

Please review your shipping address for accuracy as shipping labels are automatically generated to the address entered by the buyer.  Any address correction/change must be placed via message ASAP to donna@fleececentric.com. If your item has not yet been mailed, the address correction submitted will be applied.

If your item has already been mailed to an incorrect address, every attempt will be made with USPS to Intercept and redirect your package based on USPS Intercept (trademark policy). This is a service of the USPS and you will incur additional postage and Intercept fees. 

If the shipping address is incomplete/incorrect and your order is returned to me for undeliverable address; you will need to repurchase shipping charges. 

Please refrain from shipping to Post Office Boxes as USPS will only hold an item that is too large for the PO Box for 10 days.

Shipping for In Stock Items

All of my items shown on my website are in stock and are available for immediate shipping - immediate shipping meaning - within 1 business day following your order.  I use USPS for all shipping and standard USPS shipping times apply.

Shipping for Custom Orders

Once you place your Custom Order and I receive your fabric (usually 5-7 days) I will then sew your item within 3-5 days and ship immediately upon completion.  I use USPS for all shipping and standard USPS shipping times apply. 

Shipping Within the United States

All shipping is through USPS, and I will ship appropriately in Poly/Tyvek Mailers and/or boxes.  Appropriate shipping via USPS First Class Package Service, Parcel Select Ground or Priority Mail. 

The Best Things in Life are Fleece and free shipping is a great reward. I offer Free Shipping on orders over $100.00 and occasionally, I run a Free Shipping Campaign; watch your email for notifications.

Lounj is a maker of human beds and I use their shredded memory foam in my "Crop Circles" and "Bunny Kickers". The Lounj memory foam for both of these products is encased in spandex fabric.

All products are sewn with Gutermann Thread and/or Maxi Lock Serger thread.

I Use only YKK zippers in my products.
